About Us: 

The Sandringham Football Club, nicknamed “The Zebras”, is an Australian Rules football club based in Sandringham, Melbourne. The Club was formed in 1929, is currently aligned with the St Kilda Football Club. The Club manages teams playing in the Victorian Football League (VFL) and the Victorian Football League Women’s (VFLW – Southern Saints).

Sandringham Football Club is seeking Match-day Volunteers to assist in delivering a positive home game match-day experience and improving community engagement.

Key Tasks: 

  • Selling entry tickets, membership and merchandise on match-day
  • Opportunity to assist with other aspects of game day as the year progresses, for example, community engagement initiatives on match-day (ie. entertainment, themed rounds, sponsor activations)

Essential Skills:

  • Enthusiastic
  • Good communication skills
  • Punctual/reliable

Essential Requirements

  • Sandringham Football Club supports child safety and therefore will require all applicants to have a valid Working With Children Check.
  • As per current Government and AFL guidelines, anyone working with a VFL club is required to be double-vaccinated against Covid-19.
  • Weekend availability - usually for approx. 3-4 hours
Time Required

Approximately 3-4 hours on match days (weekends)

Background Checks Required

Working With Children Check and proof of Covid-19 vaccination is required.
