Bayside Farmers' Market Volunteer

Rotary Club of Hampton

Sandringham, VIC

Posted 1/3/2022

The Rotary Club of Hampton is currently recruiting volunteers to assist with our monthly Bayside Farmers’ Market.

By being a volunteer, you’ll get to be involved in a fantastic local community event as well as enjoy the opportunity to meet other wonderful locals.  Many great friendships have started with volunteering at the market!

The Bayside Farmers’ Market is managed by Rotary Club members and supported with help from other community volunteers who assist with the operations on market day. This involves helping with the market set-up, taking gate donations or assisting with traffic management, and is a commitment of only 4 hours per month.

The Bayside Farmers’ Market is the main fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Hampton and is one of the longest running and most popular markets in Melbourne. It is held on the 4th Saturday of every month at the spectacularly located Trey Bit Reserve, Sandringham, a fabulous beachside location off Jetty Road near the Sandringham Yacht Club.

The market features 60+ stalls selling farm fresh seasonal produce and delicious artisan-made gourmet goodies direct from the very best in local quality growers and producers, as well as take-away food and drinks. The entry donation to the market contributes to funding Rotary local community projects which make a significant difference to the wellbeing of the local Bayside community.

If you are interested in being a volunteer at the market, then please contact Jenny Fox at 0411 108 248 or email:

We’d love to hear from you and welcome you to our team of volunteers!
