  • Is the working environment or activity safe?
  • Does the organisation provide volunteers with a clear outline of the goals and responsibilities for volunteering roles?

When posting volunteer opportunities it is important that you follow best practice standards which includes that you have volunteer insurance. The Volunteering Victoria website provides detailed information on managing volunteers, training opportunities, information sheets and advice.

How to Use Bayside Volunteering

It is easy to join. Log onto JOIN BaysideVolunteering. Register with a name, email and create a password. Once joined:

Community Groups

If you are a community organisation you can POST a Volunteering Opportunity advert by clicking of My Volunteering Opportunities and create an Advert using the easy template program. Once you have completed your advert, simply click on POST ad. Your advertising will appear on the web site within 1-2 working days. You may remove your adverts at any time. You will receive a email a few days prior to expiration date to renew or remove your advert.
